Sigma Vibracoustic Started its operations in 1999 as Sigma Phoenix ( a 50:50 JV between Sigma Corporation, Delhi and Phoenix AG, Germany). It had an asset base of Rs 18 crore (4 Mio Euros), 80 employees and a whole time Technical Director from Phoenix.
In 2001, Phoenix and Freudenberg, market leaders in NVH parts, merged their anti-vibration divisions and formed a company called Vibracoustic – its only business was anti-vibration parts and had a worldwide sales of Euros 750 Mio Euros in 2001.
In line with the merger, Sigma Phoenix was renamed as Sigma Vibraocoustic India Private Limited on 1st of April 2001. TS-16949-2002, QS-9000 & ISO-9001 Certified Company, manufacturing automobile anti vibration moulded rubber parts for world wide OEM applications only. 50:50 Joint Venture with Vibracoustic, Germany. Certified OEM Suppliers to European & Indian Vehicle Manufacturers. 2 State-of-the-art Plants spread over 70,000 sq.ft. |
